Writing for the web is a bit like speed dating.

You’ve got about 10 seconds to make a good impression, and if you don’t, they’re not coming back.

So you’d better make it sharp, and you’d better make it snappy.

My copy follows three basic principles:

Be clear.

In your objectives, in the message you’re delivering, and in the language you use.

Be concise.

Get to the point.

Be different

Your brand voice is what sets you apart. Dare to be different.

Why choose me?

I’ve spent the past three years writing entire websites from scratch for global brands like Vodafone, MasterCard and Deutsche Bank.

So I’ve got a good idea about how to put together a website that sells.

From crafting a knock-em-dead homepage headline, to selling your products using bite-size chunks of benefit-led copy, I’ll make sure you’ve got the words to really connect with your audience.

How does it work?

We’ll talk

Get in touch and give me a few details about the work you’d like done.

We’ll put together a brief

I’ll send you a blank briefing document to fill out: this outlines the scope of the project. Once you’ve filled it out and returned it, I’ll provide a quote and tell you how long the work will take to complete.

I’ll write

We’ll both sign the contracts (50% of my fee is payable upfront). After this, I’ll start to write. You’ll receive engaging, customer-targeted copy that includes any relevant keywords for SEO, as defined in the briefing document.

You’ll review

I’ll send you the first draft, and you’ll have the opportunity to review and provide feedback. I’ll make any change required – you can request as many as you like before final sign off. Once you’re happy with the copy, you can sign off and provide the final payment.
